Cheylin won the last time they faced Golden Plains and Emily Serrano did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Serrano, who had 15 digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Cheylin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Golden Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-12-1.

Cheylin has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Triplains/Brewster on the 11th. As for Golden Plains, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Wheatland-Grinnell on the 11th.
