Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mountain View was not quite Maricopa's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Maricopa Rams by a score of 2-1. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jody Bonina, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Maricopa, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Desert View on the 17th. Maricopa has also already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Pueblo on the 17th.
