Volleyball Game Preview: Kapa'a Warriors vs. Waimea Menehunes

Kapa'a hasn't had much luck against Waimea recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Menehunes at 6:30 p.m. Waimea took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Kapa'a, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Kapa'a made easy work of Kauai and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Waimea came up short against Wiseburn- Da Vinci back in August and fell 2-0.

Waimea was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-9.

Kapa'a has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Waimea, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kapa'a couldn't quite get it done against Waimea when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as they fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
