Volleyball Recap: Marmaton Valley Takes a Loss

Marmaton Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Northeast Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16.

Marmaton Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marmaton Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Central Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northeast will take on rival Chetopa on Tuesday.
