Baseball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Huron's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Brighton Bulldogs on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the River Rats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Huron saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jon Boerst, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 9-22-1. As for Brighton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

While Huron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
