Softball Recap: Sebastopol Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sebastopol can now relate to. They fell just short of the East Union Urchins by a score of 13-12 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Urchins: they've now lost three in a row.

Hanna Boleware was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Jaylee Coleman was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Sebastopol's record now sits at 27-6. As for East Union, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3.

While Sebastopol had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
