Softball Recap: Muhlenberg County Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Muhlenberg County's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Caldwell County Tigers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Muhlenberg County's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Caldwell County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muhlenberg County will square off against Hopkinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Caldwell County, they will face off against Graves County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
