Football Game Preview: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Seaside Seagulls

The Tillamook Cheesemakers are taking a road trip to face off against the Seaside Seagulls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Tillamook blew past Gladstone/Riverdale, posting a 42-6 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cheesemakers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Gladstone/Riverdale are ranked 137th).

Meanwhile, Seaside had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 55-7 win over the Lions.

Tillamook's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Seaside, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Tillamook was able to grind out a solid victory over Seaside in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 27-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cheesemakers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
