It was a good run, but McHenry unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Prairie Ridge Wolves by a score of 2-1. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McHenry started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-17.

McHenry's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Prairie Ridge, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McHenry will challenge rival Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Prairie Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Huntley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
