Softball Recap: Temple Christian Eagles vs. Weatherford Christian Lions
In what's become a running theme this season, Temple Christian gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They never let the Weatherford Christian Lions onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The win was just what Temple Christian needed coming off of a 15-4 defeat in their prior contest.
Audri Rangel and Skylar Hunter did most of the damage at the plate: Rangel scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while Hunter went 1-for-2 with a home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Mya Shaw, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Temple Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Weatherford Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
