George Jenkins had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mulberry Panthers a 14-0 shutout. The Eagles have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Layla Hinojosa and Jazlyn Duque made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Hinojosa tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
