Volleyball Recap: Miller Finds Home Court Redemption Against Gettysburg

There's no place like home for Miller, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Gettysburg Battlers on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Miller was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.

Paige Werdel paced Miller's offense, picking up ten kills. Werdel got some help from Gracen Werdel and her 23 assists.

Miller is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Gettysburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller will square off against Faulkton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gettysburg, they will welcome Highmore/Harrold at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
