Softball Recap: Martin Comes Up Short

Martin lost to Schoolcraft back in May of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clippers came up short against the Eagles, falling 19-2. That's two games in a row now that the Clippers have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Martin's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Schoolcraft, they moved to 7-10 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Martin will face off against Centreville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Schoolcraft, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-3 defeat against Watervliet on the 16th.
