Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood lost against Revere back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Minutemen.

While Edgewood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22.

Faith Vencill paced Edgewood's offense, picking up nine kills. Vencill got some help from Summer Matthews and her 17 assists.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Revere, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Edgewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against St. John on the 19th. As for Revere, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Kenston on the 23rd.
