Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Takes a Loss

Edgewood lost against Revere back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Minutemen.

While Edgewood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22.

Faith Vencill paced Edgewood's offense, picking up nine kills. Vencill got some help from Summer Matthews and her 17 assists.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Revere, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Edgewood will head out to take on St. John at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Revere, they will take on Kenston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
