Softball Recap: Princeton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Princeton came out on top against Van on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Tigers took their game against the Bulldogs 7-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Bailey Brewster, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Van, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Princeton has already played their next match (against Montcalm), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Van will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' contest: after the Tigers face off against the Generals, they'll take on Van again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
