Basketball Recap: Water Canyon Wildcats vs. Enterprise Wolves
Water Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Enterprise Wolves at home by a 62-44 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-31 back in December of 2024.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dynonte Blackmore, who posted 17 points and five boards. That was a full 38.6% of Water Canyon's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Payten Lebaron, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.
Enterprise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Treyson Whitman, who went 7 for 16 en route to 16 points in addition to five boards and four steals.
