Frost's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brenda Manrriquez, who went 9 of 21 on her way to 22 points along with seven boards and four steals. Manrriquez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 23 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brynna Banks, who posted four points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last game, Fruitvale made sure to put some points up on the board against Grapeland on Monday. Fruitvale managed a 58-53 victory over Grapeland.

Frost has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points over those games. As for Fruitvale, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
