Baseball Recap: Sarasota Christian Comes Up Short

If Sarasota Christian was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Bradenton Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Sarasota Christian lost 12-3 to the Imagine School at North Port Sharks on Friday. The Blazers haven't had much luck with the Sharks recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Sarasota Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Brock, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Sarasota Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Imagine School at North Port, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sarasota Christian will take on Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Imagine School at North Port, they will face off against Palm Beach Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
