Gunnison waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Del Norte Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cowboys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gunnison never let Del Norte on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-22.

Gunnison was led to victory by Aubriel Loken and Addison Claus. Loken had ten digs and five aces, while Claus had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Loken has posted over her last six matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Gunnison was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Gunnison's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Del Norte, they dropped their record down to 9-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Gunnison nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
