Baseball Recap: Three Rivers Victorious + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Three Rivers had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Kaufer Seahawks on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Seahawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jayse Alvarado spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Three Rivers is 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Three Rivers saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Ender, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Three Rivers' win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Kaufer, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-8.

Three Rivers will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Seahawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
