Cedar Creek came out on top against Holy Spirit on Tuesday thanks in part to Matt Vanaman's efforts. Nobody could stop Vanaman as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Vanaman's strong effort led Cedar Creek over Holy Spirit and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
