Volleyball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Rockhurst

Rockhurst waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Central Indians by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hawklets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Rockhurst might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Central scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Mason Kastel paced Rockhurst's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kastel got some help from Will Campbell and his 23 assists. Kastel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Rockhurst pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
