Volleyball Game Preview: Richfield Wildcats vs. Panguitch Bobcats

The Richfield Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Panguitch Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Richfield is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Canyon View just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Falcons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-15.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Saturday. Panguitch fell 3-1 to Sky View.

Richfield's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-12. As for Panguitch, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Richfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Panguitch in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
