Southmoore won the last time they faced Mustang and things went their way on Friday too. The Southmoore SaberCats walked away with a 65-54 win over the Mustang Broncos. Given the SaberCats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Broncos are ranked 82nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southmoore's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Mustang, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southmoore will host Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southmoore knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Deer Creek likes a good challenge. As for Mustang, they will welcome Yukon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
