Softball Recap: Bruceville-Eddy Has No Trouble Against Ellison

Bruceville-Eddy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Ellison Eagles with a sharp 14-6 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Bruceville-Eddy needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Avah Williams and Kimber Diaz did most of the damage at the plate: Williams scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Diaz scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Abby Reese was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Bruceville-Eddy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
