Baseball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

If Sidney was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Graham Local on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets fell 7-3 to the Franklin Wildcats on Saturday.

Sidney saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Knott, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Sidney will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Arcanum at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Franklin, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
