Baseball Recap: Beechwood Drops Highest Score of Season Against Dayton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beechwood). They never let the Dayton Greendevils get on the board and left with a 22-0 win on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the match before.

Aiden Dicke looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Roland King, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hudson Edwards, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Beechwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Beechwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Dayton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.
