Volleyball Recap: Penney Hornets vs. Lathrop Mules
Penney lost against Lathrop back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Penney Hornets lost 3-0 to the Lathrop Mules. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-3.
Penney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Lathrop, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-18-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penney will venture away from home to square off against West Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lathrop, they will challenge Wellington-Napoleon at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
