Basketball Game Preview: Prairie Home Panthers vs. New Bloomfield Wildcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Prairie Home Panthers duke it out with the New Bloomfield Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday... Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Prairie Home and eight for New Bloomfield.

Prairie Home is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 62-34 loss at the hands of Stover. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 52nd).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-12, which was the final score in New Bloomfield's tilt against Russellville on Monday.

New Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Prairie Home, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
