Volleyball Recap: Wamego Red Raiders vs. Silver Lake Eagles
Wamego lost against Silver Lake two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Raiders fell 2-0 to the Eagles.
The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11.
Ryann Langvardt paced Wamego's offense, picking up eight kills. Langvardt got some help from Kennedy Flynn and her six assists.
Wamego's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Silver Lake, their win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1.
Looking ahead, Wamego will welcome Rock Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Silver Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Basehor-Linwood on the 1st.
