Soccer Recap: Central Woodstock's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Central Woodstock finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell just short of the Clarke County Eagles by a score of 2-1. Central Woodstock haven't had much luck with Clarke County recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Central Woodstock fell to 3-1. As for Clarke County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central Woodstock is set to challenge their familiar foe Madison County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clarke County will square off against rival Page County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
