Basketball Game Preview: Dracut Middies vs. Billerica Memorial Indians

Dracut is 2-8 against Billerica Memorial since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Dracut Middies will challenge the Billerica Memorial Indians at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Dracut is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Tewksbury Memorial, falling 75-39. While losing is never fun, the Middies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Redmen are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, Billerica Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 59-44 bruising from Lawrence.

Dracut's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Billerica Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
