Volleyball Recap: Francine Chua and Natalia Kowalski Secure Win for Reavis

Reavis won the last time they faced Blue Island Eisenhower and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Reavis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-12.

Reavis was led to victory by Natalia Kowalski and Francine Chua. Kowalski had 27 digs and two assists, while Chua had nine digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Kowalski is now averaging an impressive 11.4 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Grela, who had nine digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Reavis was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Reavis' record is now 4-5. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
