Baseball Recap: Manatee Hurricanes vs. Out-of-Door Academy Thunder

Manatee lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Out-of-Door Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Hurricanes' pitchers stepped up to hand the Thunder an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Malachi Cleto looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Cooper Richardson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Ashton Hovda was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
