Recap: Butler Bulldogs vs. Greenbrier Wolfpack
The Butler Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season. They really took it to Greenbrier for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-24 win on the road. Given Butler's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Greenbrier is ranked 398th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Butler's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karen Nimo led the charge by scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Nimo set a new season high mark in steals with five. Brayla Harris was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Butler and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Greenbrier, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
