It was a good run, but Glenbard East unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Patrick Shamrocks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Glenbard East's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Patrick, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Glenbard East will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Elmwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for St. Patrick, they will square off against Crane Medical at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. One thing working in St. Patrick's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
