Baseball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-2 to the DeKalb Barons.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for DeKalb, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenn will host Kankakee Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for DeKalb, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Angola at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Barons are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
