Basketball Recap: Webb City's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Webb City had won four straight games and Holton Keith did his part to make it five on Friday. The Webb City Cardinals blew past the Nevada Tigers 68-36 thanks in part to Keith, who went 12 of 17 en route to 26 points and five steals. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Eli Pace, who posted 15 points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games he's played.

Webb City's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Nevada, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Webb City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-48 defeat against Putnam City on the 25th. As for Nevada, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Nevada Tigers face off against the Clinton Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
