The Upper Scioto Valley Rams will look to defend their home court against the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Upper Scioto Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 58-25 loss at the hands of Cory-Rawson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Upper Scioto Valley in their matchups with Cory-Rawson: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the defeat, Upper Scioto Valley saw an underclassman step up: Audrey Lawrence scored 4 points.
Meanwhile, Waynesfield-Goshen was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 51-50 to Ansonia. While losing is never fun, Waynesfield-Goshen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 548th, while Ansonia is ranked 196th).
The losses dropped Upper Scioto Valley to 1-3 and Cory-Rawson to 1-5.
