Lewis Came Up Big in Ontario Christian's 28-21 Win
Starting off the list is Ontario Christian's Zander Lewis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. While Joshua Monroe delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Capistrano Valley Christian. Monroe turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.

Champ Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Champ Brown put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102). He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for Aquinas, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Brown and Aquinas will host Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
