Soccer Game Preview: Irvin vs. Harmony Science Academy

The Irvin Rockets will be playing at home against Harmony Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Irvin fell victim to Bowie and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

Meanwhile, on TuesdayMountain View kept up with Harmony Science Academy until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Harmony Science Academy was the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Mountain View. It was an even better day for Zoe Martinez as she scored three goals for her team.

Harmony Science Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matches. Irvin's loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
