Jefferson City posted their biggest win since December 11, 2024 on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Camdenton Lakers as the Jefferson City Jays made off with a 71-45 victory. Given the Jays' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Lakers are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Jefferson City and bumps their season record up to 17-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Camdenton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson City will square off against Battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Camdenton, they will venture away from home to take on California at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
