Basketball Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Homewood Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Thundering Herd have suffered since November 23, 2024.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Homewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Parker will square off against Minor at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Minor will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Parker surely won't give up without a fight. As for Homewood, they will host Jackson-Olin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Homewood is facing Jackson-Olin at the right time seeing as Jackson-Olin is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
