Soccer Recap: Edgewood Finds Playoff Glory Versus Brown County

Edgewood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Brown County Eagles a 4-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Kade Gilchrist as he scored three goals for his team.

The win was the third in a row for Edgewood, bringing their record up to 12-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Brown County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.
