Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seminole). Everything went their way against the Okmulgee Bulldogs on Thursday as they made off with a 13-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Seminole got a massive performance out of Carter Childs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Childs a new career-high. Maverick Northrip was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Seminole was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Seminole pushed their record up to 4-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Okmulgee, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Seminole didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Harding Prep on the 21st. As for Okmulgee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against Summit Christian Academy on the 18th.
