Soccer Recap: Loveland Takes a Loss

Loveland managed to keep up with Fossil Ridge until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Red Wolves lost 4-0 to the SaberCats. While losing is never fun, Loveland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Fossil Ridge are ranked 19th).

Loveland has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season. As for Fossil Ridge, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3-2.

Loveland didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Fort Collins on the 15th. As for Fossil Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Rocky Mountain on the 16th.
