Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Northern Guilford took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-14, 25-5.

Eastern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Northern Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.
