Basketball Recap: Peck Drops Highest Score of Season Against Caseville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peck). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Caseville Eagles 65-29. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Thomas West continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Cody Cairo was another key player, going 6 for 7 on his way to 17 points.

Peck smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Peck's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Caseville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Peck will challenge Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Caseville has already played their next contest (against North Huron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
