Basketball Game Preview: Charles Page Sandites vs. Bartlesville Bruins

The Charles Page Sandites will square off against the Bartlesville Bruins at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charles Page knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bartlesville likes a good challenge.

Charles Page picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They secured a 66-61 W over Will Rogers College.

Charles Page had a senior duo take command as Khalil Allen went 6 of 10 en route to 21 points and Deke Thompson posted 21 points, to go along with eight boards and three steals. Thompson's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Evans, who had eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-32, which was the final score in Bartlesville's tilt against Edmond North on Tuesday. The Bruins have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Charles Page's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Bartlesville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Charles Page beat Bartlesville 66-53 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charles Page since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
